Handmade from 100% Australian wool 70-75cm round, weighing 500-600gms this rug is hand felted to create texture and colour to your studio. Just wool, no skin! The woollen locks are heavily felted into the base and washed several times through the process. A side split is felted into the rug therefore it will remain strong and not rip or tear over time. Made 4 Ewe props rugs are thick, strong and with regular care will be your go to prop for every session for years to come.
Every sheep has a varied curl and crimp therefore you will never see the exact same fleece twice. All rugs are unique and one of a kind and may vary in weight and size. Please be aware there may be some vegetation matter present.
Natural has a higher price because it is much harder to make. Each sheep has a small portion of white wool, running around the neck and surrounds on the back, the rest of the wool is creamier and even tinged with browner tones. Making a Natural rug might take wool from more than one sheep with a process of selection and sorting.
The rug is multi purpose as it allows you to sink the babies bottom into the centre of a bean bag or a prop bowl without effecting the rug or creating bulk underneath the baby. Can be laid flat on the floor for sitter and children portraits. You can open up the rug for a bed set up and you can fold the rug onto itself for a smaller bowl set-up.

Although 99% of the time we have no problems with shipping, things can sometimes go astray or be damaged in transit.
